One thing that always astounds me is the different ways in which people connect. Some through voice, some through touch and others simply through sight. No doubt Ricky & Cathy have a great connection, but I was just blown away at the way they looked at each other throughout our shoot. We had a wonderful time one afternoon recently shooting around Centennial Park and then Lavender Bay for their Spring Portraits and Engagement Session. I cannot wait for their wedding at Taronga Zoo later on this year.
Centennial Park & Lavender Bay Spring Portraits
Engagement sessions are a lot of fun, a great way to get used to being in front of the camera and it is hard to beat spending an afternoon outdoors. We simply choose a spot, either with a hidden meaning for you or one that suits the look/style you are after and wander around chatting and shooting.

It’s been a week or two since I been on your blog, and man, this session was worth the wait.
Really *awesome* work Jack. How good is that black and white on the wharf where Cathy is looking up at her Ricky. Actually, the whole set is just, well, friggen awesome.
Drop dead gorgeous work man.
