Over time in the industry you get to know and meet some wonderful people and wedding vendors who provide other awesome (and often complimentary to what I do) services for my clients. Below you will find a variety of lovely wedding vendors and wedding venues that I love. If you would like any feedback or information about any of the below, feel free to contact me.
Finding the right wedding venue is always tricky as it is a very personal decision. Is it based on a beautiful location? Is it based on convenience? A certain wedding style? A certain number of guests? Taking the time to find a variety of places near or far from where you live will make sure you pick the right spot for your wedding.
This is a beautiful spot in SE Queensland in a place called The Lost World Valley at a beautiful venue called Worendo Cottages
Below are a number of my favourite venues in Australia.
Wedshed – This amazing team are putting couples in touch with amazing venues for their wedding days. Do check them out, I love them so much I have decided to affiliate with them to help spread the word.
It is often over looked but a wonderful celebrant is one of the most important wedding vendors that one will need to find. They tie together the story of the ceremony, a momentous part of the day and someone you will remember for many years to come. Picking one is very personal, I am lucky to call a number of wedding celebrants friends and have listed them below.
Jessie is so lovely and down to earth. She has a wicked sense of humour and could get along with just about anyone on the entire planet I think. Quick and witty, she is perfect to get to know you and make you feel comfortable. All whilst tailor making a wedding ceremony to suit exactly what you are after.
I would not be surprised if Robyn’s name has popped up a few times when looking for a celebrant. She is a warm, lovely and awesome person who can truly present an intimate and personalised ceremony for any couple. She is fun, organised and just a joy to work with.
Gary is not only a lovely bloke but has a great sense of humour and truly makes some incredibly intimate, funny and memorable ceremonies.
Melissa is really personable and lovely to work with. She is able to create a very personalized ceremony for any couple.
I have worked with Tami a few times now and she is wonderful at delivering a fun, special and heart warming ceremony to any crowd.

Ross and his team do a fantastic job and is always a pleasure working together. I have worked both next to Ross, as well as been a groomsman at a wedding he has shot.
John & Elliot have a very hands off approach but a great attention to detail. Fun to work with and have document a wedding day alongside.
Cloud Herd Film Co
Taku & Jem are just delightful and are the perfect companions to have at your wedding day capturing your story on video. I really loved working with them on Anthony & Nelly’s wedding and I hope it is the very first of many.

Taz & Reid are two brothers who are creating some wonderful wedding films. I met them in mid 2018 and very much enjoyed working along side them. They are easy going and a pleasure to work with, their style works very well with mine and they enjoy capturing the day as it unfolds.
Marlon and Redgie are relaxed and fun loving guys who really know how to document a day as it happens. They have a no fuss approach, and a great eye for detail. They are great for me to work with as well, because our styles blend together very well. This means we can work as a team, work with each other and create some awesome stories.
Josh is a super down to earth guy and produces amazing wedding videos. I have known him over the years from working in the industry and have really enjoyed working along side him. His laid back approach works very well with my style and I feel like we compliment each other well.
Tom Coburn Wedding Films
Tom has a great approach to weddings, similar to my own. Non obtrusive and capturing the day and the little moments from start to finish.
Leon & Lei are a fantastic Husband+Wife Cinematography/Videography team who match up very well with the style of photography I capture and the way I shoot. What does this mean? It means that we work together very well in allowing each other to work the way we like to work and delivery quality and complimentary work. Check them out.
Florists & Styling
Lime Tree Bower
Helen is absolutely wonderful to work with but is incredible at what she does. I met her years ago through other wedding vendors and we just hit it off. We both think very alike but also have the same approach to our businesses. Her florals are magic, and I was lucky enough to document her own wedding in late 2017.
The Village Florist
Sarah is wonderful at putting together beautiful floral pieces. Incredibly friendly and lovely to deal with, always enjoy seeing her beautiful work. I was lucky enough to be asked to document her wonderful wedding. The florals were absolutely stunning no less!
Maddy comes up with the most incredible floral displays, both for bouquets and wedding styling. She rocks her own style and approach and I love everything that she produces.
Annie is such a lovely person inside and out. She creates beautiful instalments and styling all over Australia. Travelling and working and really you can see how much she loves what she does and that she puts that back into each and every job.

Samantha and her team are amazing at wedding planning and styling as required. Very helpful for planning in the lead up to the wedding day, or even Wedding Coordination of the day of the wedding. It’s always fantastic to take the stress out of your day, for yourselves and your family and friends if you want everyone to focus on just having a good time.

Booth Boy Photobooth – An awesome Open-Air style photobooth run by my good friend and photographer Samuel Burns.
Wedding DJ’s & Wedding Bands
Simon and his team are awesome at what they do and really know how to read a crowd. Matched with their impeccable taste in music, they are really nice down to earth people who treat their clients like gold and keep the party alive all night long (and if I am lucky they will play All Night Long as well.. a favourite of mine). I love what they do and am always happy to see them at weddings I shoot. They are available all over Sydney, the Blue Mountains, South Coast, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.
The Vintage Stylus
I met a Adam at a wedding in early 2019 and we hit it off. He’s awesome and curating the perfect tunes for a wedding and has an amazing collection of vinyl. Highly recommended in setting the mood and getting the party started.
We Play Records
I saw these guys years ago at the Wedshed Xmas Party and they rocked it! Finally got to work with them in 2018 and it was equally as impressive. Nik is awesome and I love the music they play and the atmosphere they bring to the wedding.
Damus is such an energetic and fun guy to have at a wedding. He’s attentive, helpful and fantastic at what he does. He is involved in creating structured playlists and creates a fantastic atmosphere throughout the wedding. Highly recommended!
Greg Byrne / Lilyroad
I met Greg years ago when he was a groomsman, and it turned out I kept seeing him afterwards at weddings as a Lead Singer. He puts together bands based on what you are after, he also has a successful band of his own out of weddings. Lovely guy and knows how to get a dance floor going.
An awesome duo who really capture the mood and play beautiful sets of music. Highly recommended and have loved seeing them play.
I saw these guys many moons ago (at one of my first weddings) and loved the music, character and presence they had. They can do a range of styles from acoustic to full band setup (even both during the one day). It creates an amazing ambiance and show for the guests and gets the dance floor moving later in the day which is always fun.
Baker Boys Band
A popular establishment in Sydney for seeing and then picking the band you want for your Wedding. I have seen a few different Baker Boys combinations of musicians and they have always put on a great show.
