Alexander & Stacey picked Gunners Barracks for their June Wedding and I think it suited their style and the type of wedding they wanted perfectly.
Alex and I were like two peas in a pod in primary school, my first best friend. We had so many experiences growing up and some of my oldest memories are of us at school, birthdays, holidays and sleep overs. After a change in schools and life before the internet, we lost touch before we connected again a few years back. I cannot even fathom how the world works to think that only a few years later he and his soul mate Stacey would ask me to capture their wedding day. I was able to see his family again (whom I had not seen for over 20 years).. his little sisters were all grown up and we all chatted as if time had not passed at all. I felt like I was just one of the guests, reveling in the celebration whilst getting one of the best views of the whole day. I look forward to many more catch ups with Alex & Stacey in the future, and the friendship that continues. Our families are even planning a big BBQ so everyone can catch up again like old times.
Gunners Barracks Wedding
Gunners Barracks, with its tremendous views and intimate rooms, I really feel like for those that want some great food, wine and atmosphere that it is hard to beat. The privacy you get not being in the hustle and bustle of the city, as well as its unique location just emphasizes where you are and what you are celebrating.
