Ally & Dave Centennial Park Portraits on Film

This is the first in what I hope to introduce more and more on the blog, film portraits. A big part of my session of shooting with Ally & Dave was shooting film, bringing this film home and developing it (the Black and White) and then scanning it into a digital form. It is combining what is a most enjoyable part of photography for me (the film process) and bringing it together with my ongoing work with couples/clients. For me it adds an extra personal touch, as well as allowing me to work on a personal project so my photography doesnt always feel like work work work.

For the Film Geeks

Camera: Mamiya 645AFD

Film: Kodak Portra 400

Film: Kodak Tri-X 400 developed with TMAX Developer.
