About Spicers Sangoma Retreat

Does hire of the venue grant exclusive use of the premises?

The exclusivity fee is applicable for all wedding bookings.

This entitles you to hold your ceremony and reception
at Sangoma. This fee enables you to utilise all areas of the Retreat and surrounds for your wedding
exclusively.

Your exclusive use begins at 2pm on your wedding day to 10am the following morning.

Can we elope here?

Choose to elope at one of these romantic locations within the resort:

  • Poolside in an elevated position overlooking the Blue Mountains.

  • On the lawn surrounded by forest.

  • By the fire pit with the industrial backdrop of the main building.

  • From your very own private balcony of your suite.

A small fee of $250 applies for ceremony setup.

Can we have our wedding ceremony here?

Spicers Sangoma Retreat has a number of locations within the maintained grounds perfect for outdoor wedding ceremonies (up to 60 pax).

Can we have our wedding reception here?

You certainly may! Spicers is famous for delivering a tailored dining experience especially for an intimate wedding setting.

  • Up to 60 pax (ceremony)

  • Up to 35 pax seated (Main Dining Room - 5x8m)

How much does a wedding cost here?

Wedding packages start from $195 per person. For full inclusions and options, please contact the venue manager directly.

FYI, an exclusivity fee applies to all bookings:

  • Sunday to Thursday: $1,500

  • Friday $2,500

  • Saturday $4,000

What accommodation options are available?

For all weddings, all eight suites must be booked on the night of the wedding.

Guests are welcome to book the night before or after the wedding with discounted All-Inclusive accommodation rates (non wedding rates).

Saturday night weddings require a minimum two night stay with eight suites booked each night in peak periods.

Alternatively, there are some accommodation options within a 10km radius of the venue.

How To Get The Most Out Of Your Wedding

  • I especially love autumn through the most where you have the warm days and the cool nights, especially great weather for a wedding day!
  • The best time of the day for wedding photography is as the sun starts to set. Therefore, when the timeline for the day is being worked out, I will always insist we get out for photos around then.
  • There are some amazing wedding vendors (such as florists, stylists, caterers and wedding celebrants) that service the area. I am more than happy to recommend.
