Mili & Arun – A Colourful Autumn Sydney Wedding

Upon our first meeting they said they were shy, and not good in front of the camera. I hear this a lot, almost at every meeting I have. I usually reply with how much fun it is, usually to puzzled looks. We then shot the Pre-Wedding/Portrait Session, which was oh so much fun and then we came to the wedding and well… I think the whole day was just awesome. It was a vibrant and colourful day with a lot of family and emotion.

Dan - Seeing you mature as a wedding photographer; knowing full well that you had the technical skills; working along beside you and seeing your thought process adapt and evolve to different situation, has quite frankly been nothing short of amazing. This wedding is a reflection of your learning, your attitude, and hunger to be better.

You have come far my friend, and you will go many places. Keep it up.

Ani & Dave – An Autumn Wedding on Sydney’s North Shore

Ani & Dave had a lovely wedding in late March on Sydney’s North Shore. They ensured they had a day filled of family and friends (the bridal party definitely reflects that!)

There was a sprinkle of tradition throughout the day and so many friends and family traveled from near and far to enjoy the party. I had a blast, they had a blast, we all had a blast.

GK & Dina – A Portrait Session at The Grounds in Alexandria

I met GK a number of years ago when I had not long picked up a camera and started shooting seascapes. He came along to one of the sunrise photo trips I organised and we’ve kept in contact ever since. In mid 2012 he contacted me and told me about his engagement and plans to marry his partner, Dina. We met.. we chatted and we all got on like a house on fire. A few weeks ago we realised it was the perfect time to get together and shoot their pre-wedding/portrait session. They wanted locations that incorporated the inner west and where they formed their relationship.

I cannot wait until the winter wedding of GK & Dina. Up until the wedding, we are going to try and sneak a couple of sunrise shoots in

Phil & Nicole – Autumn Portraits in the Royal Botanic Gardens

I met Phil in 2012 when he made a visit to Sydney with some mates from Adelaide. We had chatted online for a couple of years through a mutual love of photography. In early March I got a message from Phil saying he was coming to Sydney with his girlfriend for a birthday weekend away, and that they would love some photos. Being from out of town they were a blank canvas in terms of where to go. I suggested we shoot around the Royal Botanic Gardens as its central to Sydney, is a lovely place and has the classic back drop of Sydney Harbour as well as some of the key icons of Sydney.

These two are fantastic together, they produce a lot of laughter and chemistry.. to say it makes my job easier is an understatement. I am glad you both had as much fun as I did, and I look forward to one day doing a shoot with you both in your neck of the woods

Andrejs & Alisha – A Palm Beach Portrait Session

I find it very humbling to take photos and moments of people I know. In some ways it is easier, and it many ways it is not. There is a little method in my madness in the way I approach my work, and the way I interact with my couples and I find that knowing them makes it a little bit more zaney than usual. Andrejs and Alisha are one of the very first clients that booked me, way back in early 2012… the trust and belief that they showed in me from the very beginning really propelled me forwards and I think has helped attribute to my growth since I launched my own business.

It was time for me to return that trust, and this is what we produced one Sunday in early March at the beautiful Palm Beach on Sydney’s northern beaches.

A few polaroids from the afternoon at the end (and a few accidental but cool multiple exposures). Thanks again to you both for a rad afternoon, it really is a fantastic way to finish up a Sunday afternoon. Cant wait until the wedding in October!
