I really enjoy photographing at wedding venues that have a space that just allows everyone to have a rocking good time. The surfhouse is a great space that gives you the locations inside and out to be able to enjoy the celebrations the most with your family and friends.
The location is stunning, and being from Sydney I love weddings down by the beach and along the coast. The never ending ocean views are spectacular and especially beautiful in the summer time when the long days mean you get to enjoy them for longer.
The close proximity of the surfhouse to Newcastle means there is a plethora of photo locations in the area. From Fort Scratchley, Newcastle CBD, Newcastle Baths or even for a more natural setting with Glenrock Nature Reserve nearby.

- It can be hot hot hot by the beach in summer. If you are considering a beach ceremony, plan it for later in the day for when it has cooled down a little for yourself and your wedding guests.
