I met Gennadi a number of years ago when I had not long picked up a camera and started shooting seascapes. He came along to one of the sunrise photo trips I organised and we’ve kept in contact ever since. In mid 2012 he contacted me and told me about his engagement and plans to marry his partner, Dina. We met.. we chatted and we all got on like a house on fire. A few weeks ago we realised it was the perfect time to get together for their Engagement at The Grounds of Alexandria. They wanted locations that incorporated the inner west and where they formed their relationship, their love of food and the industrial look and feel of The Grounds and Sydney Park turned out to be the perfect place for us to shoot.
We met for a quick and delicious bite at The Grounds before shooting around the area and heading up to Sydney Park for sunset. It was not long after that I shot their Two Day Wedding Event which is definitely worth a look.
Engagement at The Grounds
Engagement sessions are a lot of fun, a great way to get used to being in front of the camera and it is hard to beat spending an afternoon outdoors. We simply choose a spot, either with a hidden meaning for you or one that suits the look/style you are after and wander around chatting and shooting.
Again massive thank you for the gorgeous fun filled afternoon! The photos turned out beautiful!
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.
Nice one man! I especially love the set of surprised look by the couple x
