Ash & Tara Shelly Beach Engagement

My wonderful friends Ash & Tara had their first date down at Shelly Beach, many years ago whilst we were all still in high school. It was always a special place for them, so naturally I felt it was the perfect place for their Shelly Beach Engagement session. This is not the first time they have featured on the blog, their beautiful Centennial Park Wedding was featured a couple of years ago.

For me though the connections that I have with my clients (whether old friends or new) is very important. All I is the photos we capture to be a representation of you. You can be shy or outgoing, adventurous or home bodies. The connection and how you are together speaks volumes. We don’t have to just take photos in one place, we can incorporate the things that you enjoy doing together, and include a location that feels like home to you both.

I really wanted to share this session because I look back at it and it makes me smile. It reminds me of the great things that come from photographing people in love. It does not matter that these photos are years old at this time of this post. The connection, the love and the feeling is just as fresh as it was back then.

Shelly Beach Engagement

Shelly Beach is such a lovely place to explore in Manly. There are a plethora of walking tracks throughout North Head. The walk from the Manly Corso over to Shelly Beach and back is also wonderful.

Engagement sessions are a lot of fun. It is a great way to get used to being in front of the camera. I am happy to help you pick a location for your engagement session. It could be a location with a special meaning for you. It could be a location that suits the style or look you want for your photographs. We simply wander around chatting and shooting. It is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon and get some beautiful photos.
