As a photographer I am constantly creating and capturing photographs. Over the years I have built up quite the collection of photos, but I do not always get the opportunity to share them all. I have put together a Wedding Portfolio of highlights that I like and feel are a representation of my photography. I hope in time I can also put together a landscape/film portfolio of images which show my personal journey with photography.
As a viewer, wedding highlights or photographs of other people (if you do not know them) results in many different reactions. Weddings are full of personal moments, I respect that these moments are intimately meaningful for those involved or those that are close friends and family. This also shows in the response of sharing images of people in the public realm and the feedback to those moments when compared to say, photographs with a couple within the landscape or scene. I am not always the best at sharing the very intimate moments in public but I have sprinkled some throughout this portfolio. I generally like to show these intimate moments in a complete and cohesive set of images (like a blog post or an online gallery). Of which I am more than happy to present to anybody that asks.
I hope the photos below give a little insight into the way I like to photograph and the style I have developed for myself.
If you like my style and would like to work with me; then get in touch and I would be more than happy to sit down over a coffee to chat. I enjoy shooting near where I live in Sydney, as well as travelling around Australia and abroad to cover destination weddings. The biggest joy I get from taking photographs is the people I get to met. So many people from different walks of life and celebrating the union they have created with their significant other. I am always humbled and how open and accepting people are and how I always feel welcomed, it allows me to capture the day as it happens and to find the real emotion behind it all.
