We met up for a quick pizza and coffee, but had to abandon our first location plans due to security, so headed over to Centennial for the rest of the afternoon. I took them to some new spots, and tried some new things and all in all, we had a tip top time. I think the photos show that, and a very big thank you from me goes out to Luke and Miia for being themselves, and making my job seemingly easy.

There is a special shot in here too, about half way.. a very tall vertical panorama (it was done on purpose) and it is one of my favourite shots in the set. There are a few other panorama composites in here as well, which have turned out fantastic.

I have been busy working away on this wedding this weekend, and thought I would share a little preview for a Sunday night. I am very excited to finish these off, deliver and then share a full blog with you all very soon. I am off to Bali at the end of this week, so I hope to have some new items blogged VERY soon and perhaps some whilst on the road.

Until then however just a frame or two from a sunrise trip last weekend to Mona Vale. I really have been hoping to capture a spectacular sunrise before I get stuck into the wedding season; which all kicks off after my short trip to Bali in August. Ill be doing my best to share some more personal work, but I will be focusing on bringing a whole lot of new content onto the website/blog. I have a plethora of weddings and portrait shoots to blog about that definitely need some love!

I find shooting sunrise a very peaceful thing. You might be tired.. and usually cold.. and eventually tired, wet and cold but there is a peacefulness at that time of the morning which I definitely find relaxes me more than almost anything else.  I feel reinvigorated.. and re energized. Looking forward to a few more sunrise shoots in the coming weeks and preparing more site content (there is lots to sort through) before a couple of my first winter weddings!

I love it down there, in fact the first wedding I assisted for Daniel with was at Peppers Manor in Suttons Forest. So off we go for a quick lunch in Canley Heights before hopping on the Hume Hwy to catch some of the autumn colours before they shut up shop for another year. I must say.. it was a bit chilly but the colours were phenomenal. I only shot for part of the trip, but captured a nice series and didn’t want to relegate them to the photography vault on my backup drives. But.. ill let the photos do the talking.

After shooting the wonderful engagement of Katie & Bryce in nearby Exeter, I definitely want to spend more time in the beautiful Southern Highlandsin late 2012/2013. So if you love it too, want a shoot or are planning your own engagement/wedding in the area then by all means please drop me a line.
