Sydney Harbour Wedding

Sara & Jason decided to have their Wedding on Sydney Harbour! Incorporating as much of their current home as possible into the backdrop for the day. It was a very intimate wedding day. With all of the guests being close family who travelled from the USA (and me). We started at a dockyard in Rozelle for the ceremony on board the Boomerang. Before cruising the harbour for a few hours taking in the sights and enjoying one of the prettiest cities in the world.

We then had a small dinner at Baroque in the Rocks before some of the family retired for the evening and the party kicked off with some local friends and colleagues by heading out for Karaoke (how about a first duet instead of a first dance?!). A big thank you for having me there on the day, I look forward to our next catch up stateside.

It was sad earlier this year to farewell Sara & Jason, as they embarked on their next journey of moving back to the USA (California). Having met in the US before moving down under for Sara to work (smart cookie scientist), Jason (an inspiring music composer) popped the question. What started out as an Engagement/Portrait Session they booked me for (from Reddit of all places!) turned into a Wedding  12 months later and some new wonderful friendships.

This is their wedding story below.

Wedding on Sydney Harbour

Sydney Harbour is such a wonderful backdrop for a wedding. You can get married on a boat on the harbour. There are many beautiful locations to have your ceremony by the harbour. With many amazing venues you can also have your wedding reception by the harbour. Sara & Jason decided to have their ceremony on the harbour and then cruise around the harbour. I always enjoy a wedding that incorporates Sydney Harbour.
